Don't miss a rare and exciting chance to work with Frantic Assembly's Associate Director Simon Pittman and Frantic Practioner Krista Vuori in our four-day Advanced Training programme.
Our Advanced Training programme allows a small group to come together forming a company who will work together for four days. The format of our Advanced residencies change from year to year. For the past two years the training has taken the form of a 4 day residency culminating in a performance for an invited audience. Previously we have developed short pieces of work for film (you can watch these here!)
Don't miss a rare and exciting chance to work with Frantic Assembly's Associate Director (Learn & Train) Simon Pittman and Frantic Assembly practitioner Krista Vuori in our four-day Advanced Training programme.
This year, our Advanced Training programme will work intensively with Simon, Krista and an established playwright (to be announced) to devise collaboratively with Frantic Assembly and make an original piece of work.
"I am really excited by the possibilities that this expertise will allow me to explore. I feel more confident in my movement skills as an actor"
It is a highly energetic and creative programme, suitable for participants with an interest in extending their knowledge and practice of devising and physicality techniques.?
Extending the starting points covered in our Introductory and Intermediate workshops, our Advanced Training programme will build on these skills and put them into practice.
- Work closely with our Associate Director to develop and build a Frantic Assembly inspired performance
- Create complex choreography through simple beginnings
- Find depth in movement, learn what movement can say and how to test its' potential
- Understand text and movement; explore when to move, when to talk and how and when to do both
We are looking to collaborate with participants who have professional experience working in theatre or dance. Those who are interested in our method of creating work, who are open to experimenting and collaborating with other like-minded people should apply.
