Intermediate Training

Explore new ways to generate material with our Associate Director Simon Pittman.

Who is this training for?
(18yrs+) These sessions are for people with previous experience in physical theatre or dance, or those who have attended our introductory workshops who wish to gain a deeper knowledge about the way we work in the rehearsal room.

All details for the next Intermediate Training will be announced on our newsletter. Applications for the current training are now closed.

This training will develop your physical confidence, enabling you to be bold and playful in the way that you create your own work.

Our Intermediate Training gives you the opportunity to develop your physical skills further, over four sessions and with like-minded people.

With more time to play, this training enables participants to learn more about the Frantic method of devising and will introduce them to a wealth of exercises and techniques to take away and use in their own work.

In four, well structured sessions, you will explore devising, physicality and collaboration, building on work made weekly and finding meaning through movement created.

I have been given so much confidence that I can produce work from a physical starting-point and Neil and the other practitioners were so inspiring and encouraging that I never felt out of my depth. When I felt challenged it was only ever in the best way, it was always exciting to push myself and see what would happen.

The course was utterly brilliant and inspiring. The work our group did, inspired by the Frantic practitioners, has helped my work since enormously.
